OnPoint Physical Therapy started to help as many people as possible and assist them in attaining the highest level of function. This passion began when OnPoint owner and CEO, Chris Shannon, PT, MPT, DPT, was a youngster. Chris’s parents had disabilities, and he aided both of them, which grew his desire to help people do life better.
After graduating from the University of Washington, Chris went to work for the largest physical therapist-owned practice in Washington. During his 13 years with the company, he worked in many clinical and administrative positions, and he earned his doctorate in executive private physical therapy practice management. After the practice was bought by a large, private equity-owned physical therapist company, Chris left to start a new career path – physical therapist-led, private practice ownership!
With his education in executive private practice management, Chris understood the current issues that faced private practice owners and knew most are unsuccessful in their venture. He knew he would be even more successful by partnering with other like-minded individuals. Chris partnered with Health & Rehab Solutions, an organization that partners with entrepreneurial-minded physical therapists, inspires them to reach higher and equips them with the business skills critical for clinical success.
OnPoint Physical Therapy opened its doors in April 2017. Like Chris, OnPoint Physical Therapy has a strong sense of community and is dedicated to serving people and communities where they are located.
